Colorado Signs An Unexpected New Team Member Midseason
Colorado Women’s Basketball has had an explosive season that has led them to ranking as one of the top Division 1 programs in the nation. Despite this overwhelming success, they’ve commissioned a new secret weapon to help them finish out their season on the PAC-12 strong.
Earlier this week, Colorado Women’s Basketball signed a new addition to the team. That new addition was 6-year-old Bellamy Korn. Korn was accompanied by her mom and family when she signed her National Letter of Intent with the entire CU women’s basketball team.
Hailey Van Lith gets her groove back scoring a season high 26 points For LSU
Hailey Van Lith's move to LSU has not been easy, as she has had to learn a new position in addition to transferring to the defending champs. The senior guard's season has been filled with ups and downs, including getting benched at halfway in a game where LSU struggled. On Sunday, Van Lith had one of her best performances, finishing with 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and no turnovers.
"Hailey Van Lith has received a lot of criticism and it needs to stop. She's learned a new position, she's on one of the top teams in the country and the defending national champions. She's having to play the point guard and today she moved to the off-guard. She had zero turnovers in almost 37 minutes of play. That's the most important stat in my eyes” Mulkey said.
